Building Exterior
The former Chester Power Station, located along the Delaware River next to the Commodore Barry Bridge, is an imposing structure. It was built in 1917 at a time when potential customers did not trust the reliability and safety of electric power.

To instill trust and confidence, the power plant was built in a grand neoclassical style. Now, the building has been transformed into Synygy's world headquarters.

The 200-foot high coal towers add to the building's scale. The cranes were once used to move coal from barges into the top of the towers, where the coal then flowed into railcars, which then moved along tracks on the top floor of the building to fire the boilers that were used to create steam to turn the turbines that generated electricity.
