Chester, Pa., August 28, 2008—Synygy, Inc., a recognized authority in sales performance management and the most experienced provider of sales compensation management (SCM) solutions, today announced completion of a collection drive for school supplies as part of a partnership with the Chester Community Improvement Project (CCIP). The supplies will be distributed by CCIP staff, CCIP volunteers, and Synygy volunteers at the CCIP Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 30, 2008. Synygy’s support of the Chester community also has included employee participation in classroom reading programs, job skills training and internships, and a Season of Giving program that supports the valuable missions of local non-profit groups such as the Chester-Upland School District, AIDS Care Group, Chester Police Athletic League, and the Community Action Agency of Delaware County. These initiatives are part of Synygy’s global social responsibility program. The Synygy school supplies drive was spearheaded by Dana Kellum, Human Resources Consultant at Synygy, and Jessica Wynder, administrative coordinator at Synygy. “Synygy employees are active, generous, community-minded individuals who care deeply about serving others,” said Mark A. Stiffler, Synygy president and CEO. “As a company, we are committed to supporting and enhancing the Chester community and the lives of its citizens.” “We are very grateful for our partnership with Synygy,” said Annette Pyatt, CCIP executive director. “Children who start school with a complete set of new supplies are more likely to be excited about a new school year. Purchasing an entire collection of required supplies for one or more children can be a heavy financial burden to low-income parents,” she said. Synygy’s world headquarters is located in the former Chester Power Station—an imposing, 1918-era structure that now anchors the commercial revitalization of this historic community.
