State-Of-The-Art Data Center
Located within Synygy's world headquarters, our state-of-the-art facilities provide processes, built-in infrastructure redundancies, and 24x7x365 physical security.
- Synygy guarantees 24 x 7 up-time — All servers are monitored year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and any failure sends an alert to our system administrators. The portal servers are clustered to ensure that if any one machine goes down the site will remain functional. The clustering servers manage load balancing to ensure that the site responds promptly and is not slowed by heavy traffic.
- Synygy purchases and maintains all hardware — Synygy uses all IBM servers, stored in our Data Center for all hosting services. These servers feature fault-tolerant data storage, fault-tolerant network access, and fault-tolerant power supply.
- Synygy maintains and supports security — The Synygy Data Center is monitored using a system of security cameras. All visitors must be sponsored and escorted by Synygy personnel. In case of a breach, an offsite monitoring facility is notified, a system administrator is paged, and, if warranted, local police are called.
- Synygy fully supports disaster recovery and backup — The Synygy Data Center is a 100% redundant data facility. It is equipped with a stand-by diesel generator with several days worth of stored fuel to ensure that, should the facility lose power, it causes no interruption. The facility is also supported by UPS power for the entire data center, full fire suppression systems, and boasts redundant and fault-tolerant fiber connections to an off site co-location facility.
