Lincoln Financial Distributors creates a world-class
sales force
Lincoln Financial Distributors (LFD), a division of
the Philadelphia-based $5.5 billion Lincoln Financial
Group, provides mutual funds, retirement instruments,
insurance, and annuities. With an uncapped incentive
compensation plan, LFD had a nearly unlimited exposure
on unplanned compensation expenses and needed to be
better able to forecast total payments.
Utilizing Synygy’s plan modeling expertise, LFD
now has a fully automated process in place to forecast
payments to individuals, teams, and channels. Payment
variance fell to just 1% to 3% of forecast, and LFD
is able to get ahead of the curve by proactively modeling
the financial impact of potential changes to next year’s
plans to see what proposed changes mean to each plan
participant and LFD’s overall budget.
