What are Synygy’s
core values?
Our success is built upon a sustainable, scalable
business model and the hiring of exceptional people

to achieve our mission.
How will my performance
be measured?
At the end of each quarter, you meet with your mentor
to set individual and team objectives for the next quarter
and assess your accomplishments over the past quarter.
In addition, your mentor and your coworkers evaluate
your performance along our five core values and your
job skills. We also measure client satisfaction each
quarter. For client-facing employees, our clients provide
individual assessments of performance. Together, objective
achievement, coworker evaluations, and client satisfaction
are how each employee's performance is measured.
How is compensation structured?
At Synygy, we practice what we preach about pay for
performance. The base pay of all employees is broken
into two parts: fixed base salary paid monthly and variable
base salary paid quarterly. The variable component of
base pay is linked to individual performance measures.
Most employees achieve their target pay; however, people
who do not meet expectations receive less than their
target and over achievers receive more than their target.
How can I grow and contribute
at Synygy?
We've created an environment that allows our employees
to contribute and grow at all levels within the organization.
Your position will be appropriate to your experience,
and your mentor and team members will work with you
further to develop those skills so you can grow and
advance to the next level.
I know I am going to work hard,
but what do employees do together for fun?
Throughout the year, Synygy sponsors many activities ranging
from a company-wide diversity fair to employee volleyball
games in the summer. Our monthly in-house "Herberts"—our
name for a happy hour—are also very popular. Synygy
also hosts annual events such as our Winter Solstice Party,
and Summer Solstice Picnic, an event for the whole family.
In addition, many events are initiated by our employees
and posted to the Social newsgroup on our Intranet, including
cultural activities and Synygy sports teams like soccer.
Do you provide specific job training?
While we believe that learning occurs by doing, the company
provides an extensive internal training program, which
covers topics ranging from business communication to how
to use our software. In addition, outside technical training
(or other specialized training) is provided to employees
who need to increase their skills to perform their job
more effectively. Your mentor will work with you to determine
exactly what training you will need.
